Summary/Abstract: This pastoral letter presents the life of Herod, whose reign was characterized by the Jew historian Joseph Khusner as a river of blood and, given the cunning, the cruelty and the tragic end of the king, the same historian said that he ascended to the throne like a fox, reigned like a tiger and died like a dog. Knowing Herod's life we observe the work of evil in this world and understand whose wrath Baby Jesus escaped but we also see how God takes care of His chosen people
