Summary/Abstract: Making a business requires a permanent connection between the two protagonists, provided through communication. From this perspective, information technologies and modern communications (ICT) and, in particular, the Internet is a major support for a fast, efficient and quality communication, which is manifested in all phases of business conduct and at all levels. Outlining this support, our paper identifies, however, some limitations and conditionality of the application of ICT in the sphere of business, advocating for a combination with the traditional instruments, designed to humanize the contractual relations and to generate increased confidence between partners.
