Summary/Abstract: The European single market created the conditions of specific mobility and migration of labor force and the directions of these processes are changing in time. The problems of Romanian labor force is also characterized by specificity because almost 3 million people lives and works in different countries of the European Union because of general causes and specific economic and social causes. But the impact of the socio-economic determinants over the mobility of labor force is not as strong as it could be.
