Summary/Abstract: Health is a necessity for the individual to participate to social life; it is the essence of its existence. Therefore the improvement of heath care social services’ management, the creation of an adequate infrastructure, and also assuring the adequate number of medical personnel are imposed. The development of public health care services in Romania, as being a part of European health care services, offers a view based on the following indicators: practicing physicians, practicing dentists, hospital beds, psychiatric care beds in hospitals, curative care beds in hospitals. The present analysis is based on modern statistic-mathematical methods. It is necessary to acknowledge the function of public health care services, not only for the community, but mostly for decision-making factors.
