Summary/Abstract: The proposed text problematizes one of the most interesting formations of the Bulgarian humorous press and the manifestations of the Bulgarian laughter culture – the circle around Baraban magazine (1908-1921), and the figure of his longtime editor – the bearer of culture Boris Rumenov (Boryu Zevzeka).
