Summary/Abstract: The article presents the results of research regarding HR specialists’ attitude toutilizing a potential of teamwork depending on the type of tasks performed and the work experience.The analysis of obtained results indicated that respondents preferred teamwork onlywhen the task required creativity, breaking schemes and extensive experience. In contrast, individual work was preferred when the task required quick decision-making, responsibility, confidence, thorough assessment, commitment, risk-taking and perseverance. Statisticallysignificant positive relationship was found between experience in managing teams and preferenceto individual work when the task required specialist knowledge, resourcefulness andresponsibility.
