On the Textual Variants of the Glagolitic Prayers for Cases of Natural Disasters

Summary/Abstract: The paper investigates the later textual variants of the glagolitic prayers which are contained in the 28 new folia from the Sinai euchologium of the 11th c, discovered by J. Tarnanidis. I have traced the fate of the prayers for cases of natural disasters in prayer and divine service books from the 14th up to the 19th с The aim of the research is to establish the continuity of the Old Bulgarian written tradition, as well as the more recent lexical and textual changes that have occurred in the later euchological manuscripts.
