Summary/Abstract: The paper investigates the lexical and the textual changes that have taken place in the prayers which originate from the euchological cycle as it is known to us through the first Slavonic manuscript in the Sinai euchologium of 11th с. 115 manuscripts have been studied, from 14th up 19th c., as found in various libraries. The research focuses on the tradition that can be traced back to the Old Bulgarian texts and establishes the existence of certain connections between the later euhological manuscripts and the earlier euhological books uhich have been corrected most probably in the monasteries of Mount Athos. Some of the investigated manuscripts (N167, N169, N378, N171 of the Hilendar monastery) present peculiarities that might be due to the Aton correction and could thus be related to the Aton literary tradition. The appendix to the paper consists of the lexical variants typical for the Aton euchological correction.
