Summary/Abstract: The fate of registry, “25. May” DMK Kikinda stock company for production machinery, equipment, tools and equipment Kikinda after bankruptcy, which was once the biggest one in North Banat was an ideal example of good business relations and hospitality to employees, and its not yet fully completed. The bankruptcy proceedings are opened in March, 2007. and progressed slowly up to its closure, but by June 2012. it did not happen. Current records and archives, in the initial quantity of 500 linear meters, after a break in the archive depot by unknown persons and its partial destruction is assumed, as an offi cial letter from the emergency services and police have not received, was reduced to 180 linear meters. Only after taking over the existing archival units, the Department for processing and sorting of archives of the Historical Archives Kikida will be able to establish what type of documentation is preserved. This example delays of bankruptcy proceedings, intentional or unintentional, is unfortunately not an isolated example in the North Banat. Lack of storage space until recently by the Historical Archives of Kikinda, lack of financial resources to take registry units, and often a lack of good will to get things done in the economy until the end, leads to the fact that some evidence of a registry office, a significant first for the employees and then for future researchers to be completely lost.
