Data discovery systems in practice of functioning of municipal enterprise

Summary/Abstract: The paper describes the next step in the development of controlling tools in MPWiK S.A. in Wrocław which are the implementation of dashboard for data visualization and current analysis of KPI and PI indicators. Based on the analysis of Data Discovery type of system, it has been indicated how modern approach to data analytics improves work performance, thus allowing to increase the economic benefits arising from the access to information and proactive reaction to emerging risks in the current operation of the water and sewage infrastructure in the city of Wrocław and the main processess in the company (water purification and sewage treatment).
