Technology research center in municipal enterprise development strategy

Summary/Abstract: The article presents case study of Center for New Technology and Development MPWiK S.A. in Wrocław, which coordinates cooperation of researchers from Wrocław University of Technology, Wrocław University of Environmental and Life Sciences and Wrocław University of Economics on most crucial technological and economic challenges in water supply sector. The case study undertakes the analysis of key processes of knowledge exploration and exploitation and their implementation in operational and investment activities of water supply company. The above-mentioned issues are discussed in the context of MPWiK Wrocław strategic renewal challenges and its cooperation with leading Polish water supply companies.
