Dynamic capabilities in overcoming the barriers of enterprises’ growth

Summary/Abstract: The concept of crisis of growth is rather common among developing enterprises. Problems connected with overcoming the barriers of growth are varied and it is difficult to explain why certain firms manage to grow dynamically and adjust to the changing conditions while others encounter significant barriers in the process that even threatens their existence. The paper deals with dynamic capabilities of management system which intensity and consistency allow to interpret the differences among companies which have been successful and those that have failed to overcome barriers to grow. Based on case studies the article illustrates the dimensions of these capabilities, proposals of their measurement and interpretation that can be applied to any business.
