The System of the Old Bulgarian Demonstrative Pronouns in Norov’s Psalter

Summary/Abstract: This article aims to investigate the Old Bulgarian demonstrative pronouns сь, тъ, онъ in Norov’s Psalter and their equivalents in the Greek text of the Psalter, by using the method of comparative analysis. At the centre of linguistic analysis are the semantic-functional characteristics of the demonstrative pronoun system in Norov’s Psalter, illustrating the transition from a three-component system to a two-component one.
