The System of the Old Bulgarian Demonstrative Pronouns in the Psalter of Sinai

Summary/Abstract: This article aims to investigate the Old Bulgarian demonstrative pronouns сь, тъ, онъ, in the Psalter of Sinai and their equivalents in the Greek text of the Psalter, by using the method of comparative analysis. (Including phoneme-morphologic and semantic aspects.) After a thorough analysis of the text the conclusion has been reached that a specific translating principle is observed concerning the forms and usages of the old Bulgarian demonstrative pronouns сь, тъ, онъ in the Psalter of Sinai from the Greek original text.
