Summary/Abstract: The article debates the act of justice just as it was carried out in the legal jurisdictions of Ngaoundéré, under French administration, for we highly doubt there could have been differences between the Foulbé habits and customs, the local traditions and the values of the French culture. Whenever there was a custom contradiction of greater impact, there was the option of resorting to the jurisdiction of the French tribunal.
