CONSTRUCTIVIST SOCIOLOGY OF KNOWLEDGE BY STANISŁAW OSSOWSKI. CLASS STRUCTURE IN THE SOCIAL CONSCIOUSNESS ABROAD

Summary/Abstract: The method applied by Ossowski in his work (Class Structure in the Social Consciousness) is analyzed as an example of sociology of both everyday and scientific knowledge. Ossowski’s views regarding the social structure as presented from diverse perspectives add up to a picture of novel constructivist approach towards the issue of common and scientific knowledge of social divisions. As a basis therefore, an analysis of selected foreign reviews of Ossowski’s work is proposed.
