Summary/Abstract: Efficient e-tests are supposed to be reliable, reusable and measure different levels of knowledge of the learners. This leads to necessity for using question banks that contain a large variety of test items of different types. The process of constructing the banks is difficult and time-consuming. This research presents an approach for automated generation of an accumulative question type (AQT) by using concept maps in the process of testing. A conceptual model and system architecture of the software solution are developed.
