Summary/Abstract: The problems towards today education are a lot although the facilities that the teachers have. We have search and computational knowledge engines, we have e-learning systems, dynamic software, multimedia learning resources, modern labs and so on, but still we miss the interest and the motivation of the students. The purpose of the experiment is to change the way we teach mathematics and programming during the first year of education in Informatics at New Bulgarian University through integration of these courses. All concepts that are learned in mathematics should be programmed and included in C++ libraries and to be used again in mathematics for problem solving. This way we tend to increase the interest and motivation of students in both courses, to make them work in small teams, to put stress on the need for applying, understanding and evaluation of their knowledge, to enhances their capabilities of interdisciplinary, to create their own software library of different mathematical structures, which they will be able to use in courses from higher terms of education.
