Summary/Abstract: Valeriu Anania’s dramatic poem Du-te vreme, vino vreme! aproaches the universal theme of human nature’s imposibility to escape the contraints of time, although a yearning for the ideal of ” everlasting youth withouth old age and life withouth death” consumes the main character. The hypotext for this dramatic poem is the popular fairy tale entitled ”Youth withouth old age and life withouth death”, but the myth of paradise also constitues an important reference, while borrowing certain formulas pertaining to the theatre of the absurd or surrealist.
