Summary/Abstract: Introducing words are somehow the “keywords” of the language and discourse, as they serve to introduce utterances in written and spoken language. These lexical elements of language are also called by some linguists as “connector, shifter, ligator”. In this study, we will try to address these introducers that initialize set out in the spoken dialogue in French (source language). Thereafter, we will try to provide adequate translation of introducers and utterances in contemporary Turkish (target language). To do this, we will demonstrate and explain with examples that the enunciative value of introducers in the equivalence search in the target language. This research will allow us to see if all the introducers are translatable, in other words if it is still possible to find an acceptable equivalent in the target language.
