Summary/Abstract: The aim of the article is to present a new development tool, which is Integrated Territorial Investment (ITI) and its linkages with Regional Operational Programmes. The article compares the support within the framework of the ITI by voivodeships, describes the possible ways of intervention, as well as an attempt to determine the role of ITI in the development of urban functional area.
