Summary/Abstract: The issue of determining the literary-theoretical framework for the reception of the narrative in the older Bosniak literature is rather complex. The methodological and theoretical basis for the genre classification of the narrative in the older Bosniak narrative literature is observed both in terms of the content and in terms of expressionism. The paper draws attention to the fact that a stylistic classification into periods of the older narrative Bosniak literature in oriental languages requires - on the one hand - an observation literary phenomena from the aspect of internal development of a genre, as well as stylistic tendencies in a given period, while on the other hand - it requires an observation from the aspect of general historical context that influences the development of cultural life in general, including the development of literature. One of the most important conclusions to be reached is that the most complete stylistic periodization and genre classification is the one that does not differentiate between the content and the form when drawing conclusions, but making a synthesis of the facts derived from the analysis and the content and the form of the work, as well as the literary world of the author. Semiotic cultural and civilisational patterns and imagological foundation narratives in old Bosniak and Bosnian-Herzegovinian literary tradition is a phenomenon which, in the examples of analysis of individual works, can significantly affect the various cultural re semantisation of the same motives under the influence of different literary sources or give a certain specific meaning and/or a code in order to understand the semantically difficult-to-navigate texts of intra-cultural nature in a literature marked by a specific poetic registry.
