Summary/Abstract: The regions of Luma and Has, situated in the northeastem side of Albania are clearly distinguished for their traditional costumes. In the villages of Luma region men have traditionally wom tirq made of white felk, modeled in low waist and loose. This model known as “ tirq Lume” as well as the manner it is wom, baggy below the waist, and the flat fez consist the most identifying features of men costume of this region. Women costume in Luma region are classified into three types 1. Dress with aprons (mbështjellës) 2. Dress with a long shirt and an apron known as “vesha me fistan e zhgun” 3. Dress with dimi Men costume of the region of Has classified into type “me tirq” of the tight model, is distinguished from the tirqs used in other regions. Women costume is classified in the type “ long shirt with two aprons”. Considering the apron’s styling and the model of headcherchief there are distinguished three variants of this costume; 1. Vesha e Rekës, or with “lidhcë e mahrame 2. Dress with wide shirt and two aprons 3. Dress with kollan or ring “me rreth” It is worth highlighting that the costumes of Luma region represent a lively atmosphere considering the decoration, while costumes of Hasi region are distinguished for the asymmetric decorative system
