THE BIBLICAL TEXT IN MIGJENLS WORK

Summary/Abstract: The “Vargjet e lircf' [4'Free Verses”] and the prose of Migjeni have an apparent symmetry with the evangelical and biblical text; which is knovvn as the "Great CocUG or the "Code of Codes” in the history of vvorld literature [Northrop Frye, “The Great Code: The Bible and Literatnre”, New York, Harcourt 1982; Ibid., uThe Secular Scripture: A Study of the Structure of Romance’\ Harvard University Press 1976.). Besides in the sights of Messianism, Migjeni’s vvork is concurrent with the biblical text also bv the follovving perspectives: 1. At the structural level: the constituent units of thc ^Free Verses” and the analogy with the "Four Volumes Book'\ mind c'Four Gospels”, four Evangels in the “New Testamenf'. As it is knovvn, it is in the tradition of the icScriptures” the numbering and the naming of them according to their relative substructural units. \"Pentateuche'\ ‘%The Book of Moses” in the 'dJld Testamenf']. The only poetry off the cycles contained by the first edition [1936] have their analogies with the relevant parts of the Scriptures: ''Preface of the Prefaces”, erroneously interpreted as "Preatnbo/e dei preambolf\ actually has its parallel construction along the "Canticum CanticorunC and the whole pattern is created as a prophetic discourse, maintaining the meaning as in the %‘the Prophecy of Prophecies”. 2. At the conceptual level: In the foremost, the verifiable quality of the synoptics of the ^Free Verses’' and the prose is analogical with the synoptical character of the three synoptical evangels [as to Matthevv, Marc and Luce). 3. At the mythical level: the Messianism, ^Shkëndijd’ \ %The SparF'} - parable of the Prodigal Son. 4. At the level of prosody and metrics: the metrics-less verse, or the free verse, which has been discussed so much, comes in the Albanian literature by no surprise, but as an originary model, such as found in the “Book ofPsa/ms" and the %‘Book of Proverbs". 5. At the level of pragmatics and syntagmatics: it can be proved from the position of the discourse vvith parables, parables, 44Biblical Tales”. The image of the forbidden fruit, the prodigal son, of St. Mary Magdalene if 'la prostitution sacre'\ Bodeaulaire), are just some of his parabies. 6. At the intertextual level (the text inscribed in the form of reference, the text inscribed in syntagmatic form, the text inscribed in paraphrases form, paraphrased). 7. On the scale of motifs: Babel tovver, forbidden fruit, resurrection, transfiguration.
