Summary/Abstract: The prophet Daniel, like many compatriots, was taken prisoner of war in Babylon after the military expedition of the year 605 BC Jerusalem, military campaign led by Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon. The prophet Daniel wrote his prophetic book, the book that bears his name, written in a symbolic language, in the manner of military strategists who conveyed the messages in a symbolically encoded.
