Summary/Abstract: The aim of the paper is to present linear optimisation, based on aggregated indexes of rural development, as a method for regional allocation of EU structural funds. Regional Linear programing model for the Polish Rural Development Program 2014–2020 was constructed in the paper. Factor analysis was used to calculate aggregated indexes of rural development at the regional level. The proposed allocation is optimised and tailored to specific development needs of the region.
