Prospects of development of hybrid projects market in the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodeship

Summary/Abstract: The article aims to identify the possibilities of development of hybrid projects market in the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodeship and thus the development of public-private projects (PPP) market in the region. To achieve this objective the analysis of literature, reports and studies on PPP as well as legal regulations sanctioning the use of EU funds to finance PPP projects were used. The results show that the size of the PPP market in Kujawsko-Pomorskie is small, and the market for hybrid projects does not virtually exist. The chance for its development, however, gives the Regional Operational Programme in the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodeship in 2014–2020, which provides support for public and private partners of PPP. Polish hitherto modest experiences in implementing hybrid projects show that the increase in the number of such projects in the region could contribute to the significant development of the PPP market in its area.
