Regional urban policy in the cohesion policy and 2014–2020 operational programmes

Summary/Abstract: The paper refers to urban policy formulated and implemented by regional governments.The already agreed framework enables pursuit of urban policy on both levels: state andregional. Setting up the system in a country is a long-lasting process. The system cannot bebased only upon relations between the state and municipalities. Regional urban policy seemsto be the necessary link, enabling partnership and dialogue – towards urban development – atall levels of territorial government.The paper refers to urban policy formulated and implemented by regional governments.
