Evaluation of the level of RDP 2007–2013 funds on environmental projects in the aspect of sustainable development of rural areas. An example of Wielkopolska communes

Summary/Abstract: The main aim of the article is to evaluate the process of obtaining RDP 2007–2013 funds by communes in the implementation of environmental projects. The study consisted of the urban-rural and rural communes of Wielkopolska Voivodeship. Included projects implemented by the communes themselves and departments of the communes, proved that they can be identified as beneficiary. Based on the study it can be concluded that environmental projects attracted considerable interest of communes, but gaining them did not always reflect the level of needs in this area.
