Preparation of local governments to the cooperation with foreign investors. An example of Wielkopolska communes

Summary/Abstract: The aim of the article is to know the degree of preparation of local governments to cooperate with a foreign investor. The study included rural communes of the Wielkopolska Province. Based on the survey it can be concluded that the representatives of authorities surveyed are interested in attracting investors from outside and well-evaluate their preparedness to support entrepreneurs. However, only an average of every third commune prepared an offer for a foreign investor. The higher the level of development of the commune, the higher the participation of communes having such an offer.
