Summary/Abstract: The grammatical form of each concrete word in a concrete sentence is the result of the inseparable functioning of the paradigmatic and syntagmatic intra-system linguistic links. This paper looks into morphological procedures/categories (articles, gender, number, voice, etc.) for differentiating of different syntactic functions. Thus, it is proved that behind the ostensible similarities there are different initiating mechanisms, that the semantic role and the syntactic function are different phenomena.
