Investment activity of micro-, small and medium-sized enterprises in the region of Lublin

Summary/Abstract: With a dynamic market economy development, there the need to reach both typical and alternative sources of financing of investment. Especially when the tightening of raising of the capital and at the same time the erosion of liquidity occur, companies reach for the commercially available forms of investments’ capitalizing. The article presents the objectives and characteristics of investment activity, the amount of the expenditure and sources of its financing for small and medium-sized enterprises of the Lublin province. the analysis of the investment sector of SMEs has been carried out on the basis of statistical information and surveys carried out in three editions in the region of Lublin province. Conclusions were formulated concerning the nature, amount and ways of raising funds for the financing of investment projects in the region of Lublin province.
