Summary/Abstract: If organizations want to be competitive in local and global markets, they must bring unique products and services solutions. Forming knowledge teams is possible thanks to new technology that neutralize time and geographical barriers. Those organizations are able to make use of the best world’s experts, practitioners and knowledge bases. Other reasons for creating these teams is the fact that more and more companies realize different projects that should be performed by adequate teams. The main objective of this paper is to describe the fundamental features of arising, functioning and developing the knowledge team’s organization. This subject has not been described in literature yet.
