Summary/Abstract: Using a first hand information from our research and especially the notes from a diary of a participant at those events, we tried to express as correctly as possible the way the Great Union was understand and felt in a romanian village. We tried to figured out the epoch atmosphere and the mentality of a young romanian student who took part in the world war I, and had the opportunity to participate at that Great Meeting in Alba Julia where the destiny of the Romanian people was decided.
