Optimization of costs as a current priority of the SME sector in Poland

Summary/Abstract: The SME sector plays a huge role in the economy, not only in Poland, but also every other country in the world. Lower costs are the opportunity to develop business through investment. The optimization, rather than the reduction of costs, allows for the development of a company. The result of the study presents the essence and meaning of the following terms: small and medium companies sector (SMEs), optimization costs and consequently the related issues.
