MODELING OF CONSUMER DEMAND FUNCTION. ANALYSIS OF HOUSEHOLD DEMAND ON ENERGY

Summary/Abstract: In the article there was presented overview of different econometric models of consumer demand function with regard to their usefulness to model energy demand function and to model energy consumers’ behavior. Macro and microeconomic demand models, especially consumers’ demand models, were analyzed to select the model which will be the most suitable to the objective of our research. The article is the beginning of the work conducted within the framework of the research project titled: Modeling prosumers’ behavior on the energy market. Prosumer it is consumer, who due to technological development and innovation processes in the area of energy, could become energy producers.
