Elements of harmony and polyphony in the traditional music

Summary/Abstract: The field researches, publishing the collections of folklore and ethno-musicological studies performed in the Romanian cultural space, recorded to the spiritual wealth of our people, world folk, music of the oral tradition. In order to sketching an overview concerning the conceptual aspects of the practices of concomitant scales of several voices or instruments through the use of agreements (such asis the caseof harmony) and overlapping the melody lines in the heterophony or ison manner (such asis the caseof polyphony), it is proposed for debate a synthetic approach of the presence of these elements of sonorous morphology in the vocal and instrumental music repertoires. The subject has not been in sight of musicological research in Moldova until now, the fact which can be found by his absence in the folklore studies.
