Summary/Abstract: Fashion sector is one of the most rapidly changing industries. On the Polish fashion market we observe many interesting changes with effects on the consumer’s behaviour – their preferences, needs and buying behaviour. In the article a review of the most significant current trends was made (such as the growing importance of the brand, increasing consumer interest in new market segments, the dynamic development of the luxury fashion segment or the growing importance of ethics in fashion. The article presents partial results of interdisciplinary fashion studies.
