THE ACTIVITY OF THE ROMANIAN REPRESENTANTS IN THE SIBIU DIET

Summary/Abstract: The most spectacular and interesting moment of the dispute for the recognition of political rights of the Romanians living in Trasylvania is their participation in the Sibian Diet, convoked in the 15th of June 1863. This parlamentary structure permitted the romanians from Transylavania to present a series of progressistic political projects, assigned to contribute to the national and social emancipation.
