Summary/Abstract: Gospel and Culture at the Greek Apologists. Firstly, the apologists are distinguished from other Church Parents through the ideas of their works, secondly, the subject involved in the masterpiece is not a paedagogical one anymore, being remarked through its polemic emphatises, comparing to the pagan mentality. Having a missionary activity, with an apologetical and defensive theme, the apologists write to Roman Empereors and pagan country-leaders a lot of letters, which make a great argument, the examples being taken from the life of the religious community which they represent, and with critic refferings, used as an argumentation to the habits and rituals of the pagan world.
