Summary/Abstract: The aim of the article is the assessment carried out in Poland, evaluation of cohesion policy in the dimension of applied system solutions and formulated on the basis of expectations about the usefulness of the actions taken. Poland as a beneficiary of Community assistance has been obliged to implement mechanisms to ensure the proper, correct and efficient spending of EU funds, including evaluation activities. Adopted in this respect solutions and established organizational structures have become a major element of national public policies. Despite years of experience in quality evaluation conducted should be assessed as unsatisfactory. The main problem in the operational dimension is poor usability of the results generated, and in the case of formulated recommendations lack of implementation their. In the organizational issue concerns both the plan of research and coordination.
