Summary/Abstract: Dreams in Daniil Kharms’ works are formed on the basis of Hinduism which treats a dream asa special kind of reality. They assume the shape of a literary dimension and refer to the rich oniricproblems found in the works by Shakespeare, Proust, Gogol, and Chekhov. Beyond the limits ofabsurdity connected with reality, Kharms hides another fully-dimensional world, open for individualswho are deeply involved in the process of literary creation.
