Summary/Abstract: Craft and Industrial School was established in the year 1926 on the initiative of the District Craft Society. Initially, this educational institution was training young males in two specialties: as fitter-mechanics and as carpenters. Later, in the year 1928, a department of electric wires installation was opened. On 1st November, 1928, the Society established In-Service Masonry and Carpentry Vocational School, which existed until the year 1934. As a consequence of the reorganization of the educational system resulting from the 1932 reform, the Mechanical Middle School of the Dis-trict Craft Society was established in the school year 1938/39, restricting the functioning of Craft and Industrial School.
