Summary/Abstract: The article presents the activity of the Union of Socialist Youth in secondary schools in Czestochowa. The organization was ideologically and politically subordinated to the Polish United Workers Party which determined the direcions of its activities among young people. The author has analized the development of the organization, directions and methods of its educational activi-ty among students and role in shaping the attitudes and awarness of youth.
