Summary/Abstract: The first part of the article provides basic information about disabled people in Poland. It defines and discusses characteristic needs of this group and the resulting potential restrictions in practicing tourism. Attention is drawn to the positive impact of nautical tourism on the health of disabled people. The second part of the article analyzes the offer for cruises and sailing trainings for disabled people organized in Poland in 2015. It also discusses the adaptation of the construction and equipment of yachts taking into account the different types of disabilities. It focuses on the economic aspects, analyzes the method of calculation of the cruise prices and costs that participants would incur for participating in selected sailing training. The main objective of analyzes and considerations contained in the article was to determine the availability of selected elements of nautical tourism and their adaptation to the needs of disabled people, assuming that a suitable offer in this area determines the development of tourism in selected segments of tourists.
