Summary/Abstract: This paper discusses the basic motives for archiving documents with archival value which represent the constant demands for the use of registered content, considering the style and type of recording, often due to the time and place of their use or availability. On this basis, they represent basis of archival activities which ensure that we preserve documents and process them professionally so that they remain legible, contextual or qualitatively unchanged and comprehensible for users in the future.
