Summary/Abstract: The article presents the issue of communication in the educational process and an analysis of questions posed by a teacher with regard to their value to the development of thinking and learning process. It also presents the assumptions of American classroom dialogue strategy Questioning the Author as an alternative to commonly used, anti-developmental traditional classroom talk.
