Research place selection problematic in management and organization graduate thesis

Summary/Abstract: Considering that the researcher might have a problematic in “research place” and that this research is related to the feasibility of research in the field of management and organization science studies in Turkey, it was assessed by the method of content analysis that completed the postgraduate dissertations in this area. The assessment was made according to the set criteria. The sample of the research consists of 406 masters and doctoral theses obtained from the thesis archive of the Council of Higher Education and published between 2011-2015, which is open to access. In contrast to our expectations, it has been found that big enterprises and for profit is preferred as a research place in theses carried out in management and organization sciences.
