Bishop Nicolae Ivan in the memories of his collaborators

Summary/Abstract: Some leaders of institutions have been and remained in history as reference figures due to an inspiration in selecting their collaborators. In the present evocation, we will mention the name of the young dean of Reghin (Mures), Dumitru Antal, that Bishop Nicolae Ivan, in 1927, appointed as diocesan inspector and editor in chief at Renasterea Publishing. Bishop Emilian Antal's biography and activity are little known and unjustly minimized. Perhaps this happens because, although a bishop for 33 years, he never had a diocese. Those five years he spent, as a priest, in the administration of the Eparchial Center in Cluj and a close associate of Bishop Nicolae Ivan, have allowed Dumitru Antal (future bishop Emilian), to know him closely, to love him and to keep him close to his heart for a lifetime. We now entrust to the printing the pages where Bishop Emilian speaks of the Bishop Nicolae Ivan.
