Summary/Abstract: In this paper the author analyzes the war propaganda of key participants in the First World War. This conflict required substantial resources for the development of each country’s war capacities. These capacities also involved propaganda, and its development thus became rapid. The development of war propaganda required a lot of money, and First World War showed how propaganda was for achieving the aims of the war. Propaganda thus proved to be one of the most powerful tools in the hands of the state. It was the scope of warfare, as seen in the First World War, which showed all the strength and power of propaganda as a tool, because economic capacities and military force were not sufficient.
